Anshe Sholom is a modern orthodox synagogue located in New Rochelle, New York, less than 20 miles from New York City and a half an hour train ride to Grand Central Station in Manhattan.

Located in the southern part of New Rochelle, Anshe Sholom is a short distance from Westchester Day School, Westchester Hebrew High School, kosher restaurants, kosher food markets, bakeries and mikvahs.  Anshe Sholom also maintains its own eruv and has a religious school.

Congregation Anshe Sholom celebrated its 110th anniversary in June of 2006.  We feel that says a great deal about a synagogue, its Jewish community, and our city of New Rochelle.  Anshe Sholom has endured through the years because of the special commitment of its members.  We are a growing, close-knit family community which welcomes people from every walk of life.  Our membership includes families and individuals who have been part of the congregation for years, if not generations, and newcomers, many of whom have become actively involved in the lifeblood of Anshe Sholom.
