The following is an email received from an IDF soldier about Anshe Sholom's Mobile Synagogue that is located now in Gaza:

Shalom,

My name is Moshe Sharon and I live in Israel. 3 weeks ago when the Gaza war started I was called to the army leaving behind my wife and 3 small kids. As a Jewish religious guy I was proud that I can serve my country at this difficult time.

In the small base I served I found a wonderful synagogue which was donated by you. I want to thanks you for that and let you know it was used for many soldiers.

Wishing you and the entire community, only joy health and wealth

Sholom. I was deeply moved by your e-mail
note. You are a true hero of our people and I stand in your awe. It was so kind and thoughtful of you to take the time and trouble to write us and thank us for the Mobile Synagogue. It means so much to

all of us at shul that the synagogue is being put to wonderful use. It is heart-warming to know that while you are risking your life to secure our own, you could make use of a portable shul nearby to draw comfort and find refuge. You and those like you are the reason why Israel is truly blessed. By your sweet note, we feel so much a part of you and all Israel.

I pray that in the merit of all the good which you do for others, you will be zocheh to know Hashem’s abundant blessings in every way that you wish for.
