Passover is not too far off!

This year it begins Friday evening, April 6. It is not too early, then, to think about what we can do to help make Passover 2012 special for everyone!!

Priorities for Passover

The first order of priorities in preparing for Passover is the Matzoh Fund. It is our way of saying that our personal joy on the festival is incomplete if we do not share what we have with those who are less fortunate.

Who gives Passover Relief?

According to the code of Jewish law, there are only two types of people, as far as Passover is concerned: donors and recipients. If you are not a recipient, you must be a donor. It is as simple as that.

The Anshe Sholom Matzoh Fund allows the community to perform this mitzvah. It contributes substantial funds to individual people whose needs are particularly acute at Passover time and worthy charities and organizations in the U.S.A. and Israel who seek our help and depend on our assistance.

Please make your check payable to the Congregation Anshe Sholom Matzoh Fund and mail it to the shul office.
